Lemon-Ginger-Chia Morning Drink

Recipe

This beverage is excellent for sluggish digestion, but the benefits don’t end there.

Chia seeds, a key ingredient in this beverage, are an excellent source of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids essential for heart and brain health. With a good amount of fiber and protein, chia seeds can play a significant role in managing blood glucose and cholesterol levels, making them a valuable addition to a healthy diet.

Ginger is a great natural aid for nausea and bloating. It can also help constipation, especially when combined with lemon and chia. Ginger is also a powerful inflammatory remedy, and it can reduce joint pain caused by arthritis; it contains antioxidants that keep the cells from being damaged by free radicals.

Lemons add flavor and aroma to this beverage, making it more palatable and stimulating digestive juices to flow. They contain high vitamin C, essential for healthy skin (including the intestinal wall) and the immune system.

  • 1 cup filtered water
