Watermelon Slushie

It is hard to believe that this delicious and nutrient-packed recipe has only four ingredients! This watermelon-ginger-lime slushie is super hydrating, an excellent source of antioxidants (lycopene), low in calories, and rich in vitamins C and A, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and zinc. The cooling properties of watermelon and lime make this beverage an excellent choice for the summertime, while ginger helps to keep the inflammation and occasional indigestion, constipation, and bloating at bay.
Ingredients:
3 cups of cubed and chilled (or frozen) watermelon*
juice from one lime
½ inch of ginger, grated
pinch of Himalayan see salt
Method:
Cube the watermelon and place it in the fridge of freezer to get cold or slightly frozen.
Place all ingredients in the high-speed blender and mix it all until fully combined.
Served immediately.
