This practice is design to create mental, emotional, and physical balance, and turn off our nervous system stress response. We will stay and “marinate” in each pose for 2-5 minutes to allow tight muscles to relax and the connective tissue rejuvenate. You will need a yoga mat, 2 blankets (or thick towels), a bolster or a firm pillow, 2 yoga blocks or books/boxes, and a wash cloth.
Each month we pick a charitable organization to support with donations from this event. This moth we are supporting Harvest of Hope food pantry in Boulder, Colorado.
