This program is a unique opportunity to learn and practice scientifically proven yoga techniques and lifestyle choices to prevent Alzheimer's and dementia, extend brain longevity, sharpen memory, and enjoy lasting health and wellbeing. Must register for all seven sessions.
The program is based on over 20 years of research conducted by the Alzheimer’s Research & Prevention Foundation. It mainly uses four pillars:
1. Brain Longevity Diet and brain-boosting nutrients
2. Managing stress and lowering stress hormone levels
3. Physical activity and cognitive training
4. Spiritual fitness and wellbeing
The seven-week intensive program has 1.5-hour weekly sessions. Each session consists of:
1. Kirtan Kriya – mantra meditation
2. Physical movement – gentle yoga
3. Learning about brain longevity lifestyle
4. Setting goals and intentions
5. Building supporting community
6. Handouts and Q&A
